A bit of frayed old cord cut very short and twisted. From a distance it looks a bit like a sea shell, which I'm told is a very popular motif for jewellery these days. As we have no plans to do any sea shell stuff for the time being this will have to do - if you do wear them let's just hope that no one actually comes close enough to realise they've been fooled.
